BEA Related: Book Happenings Open to All (#BEA12 #bookexpo)

Probably most people have seen the posts, tweets and general discussion about the publisher parties happening during Book Expo.  And hey its great if you're invited!  Its a nice treat to show that the Publisher is thinking about you and has you on their radar.

But what about the blogger who's new?  Or maybe the ones who aren't, but don't have firm connections in the Publishing world?  What then?

Thankfully there are a ton of open public events happening during Book Expo (and New York's Book Week) that will still be chocked full of authors, signings and in general fun.  Please note some require registration, free unless otherwise noted.

Moderated by Lev Grossman, author of the New York Times bestselling novels, The Magicians and The Magician King, these authors discuss books that appeal to readers of all ages.
