Sunday Sendup 21

So here's my week...

Blackwood by Gwenda Bond - Aside from being an intriguing idea behind what happened to those missing colonists, this book left me eagerly anticipating what next Bond conjures up.

The Assassin and the Pirate Lord by Sarah J. Maas - I'm so excited for The Glass Throne that I felt a need to finish as many of the shorter works available right now as possible.

Started Reading:
Joss Whedon: The Complete Companion - Unabashed Whedonista right here.  So happy to have this in my hands.

Joss Whedon: The Complete Companion -Got this from NOR, man oh man my inner geeky academic is hopping around.
The Sweetest Dark by Shana Abe - We'll see how this turns out.  I had trouble with her adult series, but I hear good things about this?

Won or Bought:
Unbuttoning Miss Hardwick by Deb Marlowe - Marlowe is a guarantee buy for me and this is her newest novel
If The Slipper Fits by Olivia Drake - I got this at random because it sounded interesting.  I haven't read her other historical romance series though.
Blackout by Mira Grant - The conclusion to her Newsflesh trilogy, I'm just happy Georgia's back.
Bride of the Water God volume 11 - This just gets...more insane as it goes on, but my gods its beautifully illustrated
Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake (kindle) - On sale from TOR, I've wanted to check this out for a while
Chicks in Capes by various (kindle) - Finally broke down and bought this, some weighty names included that I trust to write me some good super heroine stories.

Note to the Unwary - As many of you know I shall be attending Book Expo along with my sister, friends and oddles and oddles of other book people.  I'll be tweeting (@PRationality or hashtag #LexieBEA), taking photos and hopefully finding time to post each day about the experience.

Lesson Learned This Week - I watched the last four episodes of Entourage with my dad (I do so love Kevin Connolly) and you know what? I wish I had watched this with him sooner.  I regret not watching this when it was on (that hardly ever happens).  Luckily we own it!
