So here's my week...
The Assassin and the Desert by Sarah J Maas - This made me cry, no joke at all. I FELT SO BAD FOR HER.
The Assassin and the Underworld by Sarah J Maas - You know it feels wrong to classify these are young adult fantasy, I think a lot of folks will overlook it because of this. Maas' writing and tone is mature and I think compelling enough for anybody of any age (over 14).
Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas - OH MY GOD. I want book 2 now. Sarah J Maas you have hereby catapulted yourself to the top 10 list of my favorite Fantasy Authors. Way to go.
The Duke is Mine by Eloisa James - I didn't finish the ARC of this before it fell off my Kindle
All the BEA books ever. Tegs and my boxes we shipped to ourselves on thursday arrived Saturday (hey it pays to be only a state away) and I now have 60 books to consider when to read. To be fair 7 I already have/have read, 4 are books for others, 2 are graphic novels, 5 are part of ongoing series I need to get other books for first and 6 are previously released in 2011 so I'm not feeling a huge rush on.
Won or Bought:
Nevermore by Kelly Creagh - I really wanted my own copy and so I bought the HC of this
A Rogue By Any Other Name by Sarah MacLean - I missed her signing, but I still wanted a finished copy
Dark Frost by Jennifer Estep - Yes. and Yes.
Earl and Fairy volume 2 - this series is cute and fluffy...with a bit of a nasty turn coming its way soon if it follows the anime
Note to the Unwary - I'm working hard to get my posts up, but I'm also working hard on my classwork so things may be a little dicey for a couple of weeks while I play juggle.
Lesson Learned This Week
- I need a personal masseuse. Also House of Cupcakes is delicious.
